Postpartum flow (“lochia”) can last up to 6 weeks (and occasionally longer) after the birth of a baby. Constant use of plastic disposables after birth can lead to irritation, rashes, yeast and other complications at a delicate time when a woman’s body is working hard to heal itself and nourish a newborn.

Incontinence is more common than most of us think, and you never know when it might occur in most cases. But to wear a disposable pad all the time can get uncomfortable, not environmentally friendly plus, costly!
